Birthday lunch with the 4J’s
We had a lovely pre birthday lunch on Easter Monday at the 4 J’s. “Pre” because we would be away for a month in Europe and we will be in Singapore for my birthday. Justine made achar, brined chicken fried with spices, mussels with tomato and XO sauce, smoked trout kedgeree and hot bread to soak up the delicious mussel tomato XO sauce.
For dessert: honey quince mini cheesecakes.
