Pear and apple chutney and cabbage pickles
For some reason I never seem to have any success growing cabbages. My favourite is the savoy and the sugar loaf. I bought a gigantic one for only a $1.00. What a better way then pickle the cabbage when I have cooked it in several ways.
We had some sad looking pears and apples —They were turned into chutney and I use Ramsay‘s Pear and saffron recipe. I would make it again as it is a good recipe.
