Ginza — Tokyo — Lunch

We joined a half day trip on the second day. We visited the Tokyo Tower. The day was clear and we had an amazing panoramic view of Tokyo. Then we headed off to the Meji shrine. We were lucky to witness 2 weddings, and children dressed up for their first trip to the Shrine. It was peaceful and serene. The shrine is nestled in a peaceful picturesque park with over 120, 000 trees.
Then we drove past The Akasaka Guest House and the National Diet Library.
We explored the Imperial Palace East garden. We were dropped off at the Ginza shopping area.

Where to eat in Ginza? We headed off to the back streets of Ginza and found a set lunch restaurant with interesting pictures. Little English is spoken but we were lucky – they had someone who spoke English — perfect English.

We climbed upstairs and had to take our shoes off and store  them in lockers .
The two lunches were:
Grilled fish with side dishes

Prawn tempura with side dishes
