Olive leaf cafe at Bowral

We left our 2 grand kids in Mollymook with their mother and on our way home,  headed for Bowral for lunch. Decision was should we revisit Biota or go for pot luck. We did not feel like a big lunch and finally found a nice quiet cafe.

We each ordered apple juice.

Then the decision was what to have. We settled for wagu beef burger with aoli capers, roasted vegetables (sweet potato, eggplant, zuchinni), french fries and cucumber, lettuce, tomato.

Just as well we decided to share the burger. We were really surprised that it tasted so good and the addition of pickled moroccan eggplant was a nice touch to the burger. The beef was just cooked right and the bread was fresh and nicely toasted. We can be lucky some days—cook must have been happy 🙂
