carrot, daikon and beef soup


Yesterday I made chicken soup and today made another of root vegetables and chuck beef and a few chinese dried red dates. Into a pot of hot water, add chopped vegetables, cut meat and red dates. Let come to boil and skim off scum. Simmer the soup and you get a beautiful clear soup. Salt to taste as usual. I normally drink the soup and not eat the vegetables and meat as i find them a bit tasteless.
