Lark Hill Winery and Vineyard Restaurant


We took the 3 J’s to Lark Hill restaurant for lunch on Saturday.
Big J was playing golf at Barnboogle in Tasmania that weekend.

The 2 young J’s had a busy morning at Tae-Kwon-Do grading and they graduated to the next notch –brown belt with 2 yellow stripes. Well done Js!!

Both famished Js’  started with a hot chocolate.

They demolished everything that appeared.
No fuss…so food must be good as both are fussy eaters.
At end of lunch, we all announced we will be BACK.

The bread and pesto were on the house.
They were crispy, hot and delicious.

Both young J’s had Ravioli of caramelised root vegetables with burnt sage butter.

And who do you think had
Pan seared chicken breast on truffled polenta and chagrilled
mediterranean vegetables?
Of course Mum J!

Confit pork belly with slow roast apple mash.

Kangaroo rump tagliata with potato wedges and  beetroot mash

Deep fried potato wedges.

We shared desserts.
Walnut and pear tart

Pannacotta with quince stack and strawberry

After lunch, while we sampled some wine at the cellar door
Jade  read her Harry Potter and Jonte disappeared–most probably exploring the vineyard and watching the free range chooks.
