We make our own breakfast toasted muesli with oats, sultanas and nuts. For a change we had bircher muesli . Bircher muesli in Switzerland is a popular breakfast cereal based on uncooked rolled oats, fruits and nuts.
Soak a cup of rolled oats with fresh apple juice ( or bought apple juice–diluted as it can be too sweet) and leave overnight in fridge.
Before serving..check consistency.
On this occasion we served it with grated green apples and sliced plums from our garden and a dollop of yoghurt.
