Pau Pau or (paw paw) is a Chinese diminutive for grandmother.
I was born in Malaysia, married an Australian, had two children in Indonesia, lived in the USA, Australia and Hong Kong. I now live in Canberra close to two grand-children and not far from a Sydney grand-daughter.
Greeting from Melbourne. I come from Indonesia and have been living here in Melbourne since 1983. Btw, do you speak Indonesian/Malay?
Apa kabar?
Hi Lois—I do speak Indonesian. I read your Interesting blog. Which part of Indonesia did you come from?
I was born and grew up in Solo, Central Java, but I lived for a few years in Bandung before I moved to Australia.
Came across your blog while searching for a cafe. I can’t wait to go through your other posts. I’m interested on your take of food as I’ve also lived in Hong Kong (born there) and the US and moved to Australia recently.
Hi Anna
Thank you for your interest. May I ask..where are you located in Australia?
Happy reading

We are currently in Canberra, over in Forde. I enjoy the posts on eateries close by.
